About the Journal
The International Journal of Arabic, Linguistic and Literature (iJALAL) is an internationally refereed online journal published by ICESCO Educational Centre in Malaysia. The mission of iJALAL is to encourage scholarly research in Arabic Language. The journal provides a unique peer-reviewed forum to postgraduate students, scholars, professors, and researchers in various topics within Arabic Language. The Journal welcomes research papers as well as review articles and conference reports. iJALAL will be published in June and December annually. iJALAL will publish empirical and theoretical papers (e.g. a critical review of research). The Journal has an international advisory board. The international perspective is also reflected by the journal’s quadrilingual approach: iJALAL welcomes papers in English, Arabic dan Malay.
iJALAL invites articles between 3,000 to 5,000 words in length excluding references, tables and figures. The articles can be from any of the following areas the teaching and learning of language, Language for specific purpose, Language and communication, Sociolinguistics & psycholinguistics, second language and foreign language, linguistics, translation. Arabic literature, history of Arabic Literature, Poetry and Prose Arabic, Literary Criticism, Lexicography.
